Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use this website or engage Atrobot for drone survey, geospatial analytics or software platform services.
Last updated: 31 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are issued by Atrobot Drones Private Limited ("Atrobot", "we", "us" or "our"), a company with its office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. They apply to your use of atrobot.in and, unless a signed agreement says otherwise, to the services and software we provide. "You" means the person using the website or the organisation engaging our services.
By using the website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation or using our platforms, you agree to these Terms. If you are acting for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
2. What we offer
We provide drone-based survey and mapping services (including topographic and terrain surveys, photogrammetry and orthophotos, LiDAR and point clouds, elevation and 3D models, and corridor and infrastructure mapping), geospatial and AI-assisted asset analytics, and three software platforms: Geospatial Visualisation & Analytics, Big Data Management, and Surveillance & Monitoring.
Website content is general information about our capabilities and is not an offer. Some images are illustrations or development screenshots and do not depict work for, or results achieved for, a named client. We do not sell drones or other hardware through this website.
3. Quotations and agreements
Each engagement is defined by a written quotation, proposal, purchase order, statement of work or agreement (an "Agreement"), which sets out the scope, deliverables, schedule, fees and any special terms. If an Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Agreement prevails for that engagement.
Quotations are based on the information you give us about the site, area, access and requirements. If that information changes or proves inaccurate, we may revise the scope, schedule or fees with your agreement.
4. Eligibility
Our services are intended for businesses, government bodies and other organisations, and for adults able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
5. Drone operations and regulatory compliance
We operate drones in accordance with the Drone Rules, 2021 issued under the Aircraft Act, 1934, directions of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the airspace map on the Digital Sky platform, and any local or site-specific restrictions. Flights are conducted by remote pilots holding the certificates required under those rules, using drones registered as required.
Where a site falls in a controlled or restricted airspace zone, or otherwise needs permission from an authority, flights can take place only after that permission is granted. Permission timelines are set by the authorities and are outside our control. We may decline, pause or modify any flight that we consider unlawful or unsafe.
You must tell us about any known airspace restrictions, sensitive installations, security requirements or other constraints at or near the site, and must not ask us to fly in a way that breaches the law.
6. Site access, permissions and safety
Unless the Agreement says otherwise, you are responsible for arranging lawful access to the site, landowner or occupier consent, any client-side or site-specific permits, and a site contact during operations. You should give us details of site hazards and safety rules, and we will follow reasonable site safety instructions, including inductions and protective equipment requirements.
Our crew may stop work if conditions on site become unsafe. Delays caused by denied or late access, missing permissions or unsafe site conditions are handled as set out in the applicable quotation or Agreement.
7. Weather, airspace and rescheduling
Drone surveys depend on weather, light, wind, rain, visibility and airspace availability. The remote pilot in command has final authority over whether a flight can safely proceed. If conditions or airspace restrictions prevent a flight, we will reschedule to the next suitable window. Rescheduling for these reasons is not a breach of these Terms. Rescheduling and cancellations are otherwise handled as set out in the applicable quotation or Agreement.
8. Deliverables and acceptance
We will deliver the outputs described in the Agreement in the agreed formats. Accuracy depends on factors such as ground control, site conditions, vegetation, terrain and the equipment specified, and is stated in the Agreement where relevant. Deliverables are deemed accepted unless you notify us in writing of a specific non-conformity within the period set out in the Agreement or, if none is set, within a reasonable time after delivery. We will correct confirmed non-conformities within the agreed scope.
Our analytics, including AI-assisted detection and asset insights, support your decisions. You remain responsible for engineering, safety, financial and regulatory decisions you make based on them, and for verifying results where those decisions are critical.
9. Intellectual property and ownership of data
Our materials. We and our licensors own the website, our software platforms, methods, workflows, models, algorithms, templates and other pre-existing tools, and all improvements to them. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.
Your data. You keep ownership of the information, documents and data you provide to us and upload to our platforms. You grant us a licence to use that data to perform the services and operate the platforms for you.
Project deliverables. Unless the Agreement says otherwise, once you have paid in full for a project, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for you, such as maps, models, reports and processed datasets, or receive a perpetual licence to use them for your internal business purposes where the Agreement specifies a licence. Raw captured data is handled as stated in the Agreement.
Our use. We may use aggregated or anonymised data that does not identify you or your site to improve our services. We will not publish your deliverables, site imagery or name as a reference without your written permission.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions about our services, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Software platforms
Access to our platforms is provided on a subscription or project basis as set out in the Agreement. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your internal business purposes during the subscription term, for the number of users and features agreed.
You are responsible for keeping sign-in details confidential, for the activity of users you authorise, and for telling us promptly about any unauthorised access. We aim to keep the platforms available and secure, but may carry out maintenance and updates, and availability commitments apply only where stated in the Agreement.
When a subscription ends, you may export or request your data within the period stated in the Agreement, after which we may delete it in line with our retention practices.
11. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow others to:
- use the website, services or platforms for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- ask us to capture any site or person you are not authorised to survey, or use our outputs to invade anyone's privacy or for unlawful surveillance;
- upload content that infringes others' rights or contains malicious code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, test the security of, disrupt or overload our systems;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell or sublicense our software except as the law expressly permits;
- scrape or harvest content or data from the website or platforms by automated means; or
- use our services in breach of applicable export control, sanctions or security laws.
We may suspend access or refuse service if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
12. Fees, invoices and taxes
Fees, payment milestones, payment terms and currency are as set out in the applicable quotation or Agreement. Unless stated otherwise, fees exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other applicable taxes, which will be added at the prevailing rate. You must pay invoices by the due date stated in the Agreement; we may pause work or platform access for overdue amounts after giving you notice. Cancellations and refunds are handled as set out in the applicable quotation or Agreement.
13. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential the non-public business, technical and site information it receives from the other, use it only for the engagement, and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound by similar obligations, or where the law requires. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed or lawfully received from someone else.
14. Data protection
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf in a project or on a platform, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving any required notices under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we will process that data only to provide the services and with reasonable security safeguards.
15. Third-party services and links
The website and platforms may link to or rely on third-party services, such as maps, communication tools and cloud providers. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them may be subject to their terms.
16. Warranties and disclaimers
We will perform services with reasonable skill and care, by suitably qualified personnel, and in line with applicable law. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or the Agreement, the website and its content are provided "as is", and we make no other warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, however arising.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid or payable to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless the Agreement sets a different limit.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.
18. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your data or instructions infringing others' rights, or your lack of authority to grant site access or commission capture of a site.
19. Suspension and termination
Either party may end an engagement as set out in the Agreement. We may suspend or end your access to the website or platforms if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach after notice, or immediately where needed to prevent harm, unlawful activity or a security risk. Clauses that by their nature should continue, including those on intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, indemnity and governing law, survive termination.
20. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, fire, war, civil unrest, strikes, acts or orders of government or aviation authorities, airspace closures or restrictions, or failures of utilities, telecommunication or cloud services. Payment obligations for work already performed are not excused.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any dispute resolution or arbitration clause in the Agreement, the courts at Noida, District Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, have exclusive jurisdiction. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute through discussion.
22. General
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. These Terms, together with the Agreement and the policies referred to here, form the entire understanding between the parties on their subject matter.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date shown at the top of this page; changes do not alter an Agreement already signed unless both parties agree.
